Privacy policy

The short version: GXGX is a static reading site. We do not ask you to register, we do not sell data, and the only personal information we hold is what you choose to email us. There are no accounts, no user profiles and no advertising trackers of our own.
1. Who we are
GXGX Guides operates gxgx.com. For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) we act as personal information controller. Our data protection contact is Max Curban, mcurban@gxgx.com.

We do not collect: government IDs, financial or payment data, gambling account details, precise location, or any special category data. Never send us identity documents or payment credentials — if you do, we will delete them.
3. Legal bases
- Legitimate interests — running a secure website and responding to correspondence.
- Consent — for any non-essential cookie or analytics, where consent is requested. See the cookie policy.
- Legal obligation — where retention or disclosure is required by law.
4. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. Limited sharing occurs with our hosting and email providers acting as processors under contract, and with authorities where legally compelled. Affiliate partners receive click-level referral data through their own tracking (typically a referral identifier and timestamp) — that processing is governed by their privacy policies, not this one. 5. Your rights under RA 10173
You have the right to be informed, to object, to access, to rectify, to erase or block, to damages, to data portability, and to file a complaint. To exercise any of these, email mcurban@gxgx.com with the subject "Data request". We respond within 15 days. If you are unsatisfied, you may complain to the National Privacy Commission.
6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Correspondence is held in access-controlled mailboxes. No system is perfectly secure, and email in particular is not a confidential channel — do not send sensitive information by email, to us or to anyone.
7. Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 21 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it. See responsible gaming for device-level protections.
8. International transfers
Our hosting and email providers may process data outside the Philippines. Where that happens we rely on contractual safeguards requiring an equivalent standard of protection.
